i love my pops despite his lack of involvement in my childhood life. but sometimes i swear this dude hates me. why do i say this...check this?! so my pops calls me one day, after we had a conversation about him coming to Houston. he tells me that he is in fact coming and he will be coming the weekend of our anniversary. apparently, he got the idea that we were throwing some kind of anniversary party. w...t...f? I mean, who does this? who thinks it is a good idea to visit during someone’s anniversary, especially their first? so instead of having an eventful day with my wife...my dad tags along.
this isn’t the first instance he has done something that has made no sense. those who were at the wedding last year will remember the dude in the brown suit and shiny gold sun-glasses. Pops...if you are reading this....STOP THE FOOLISHNESS!! don’t come to other people weddings dress like a 70's pimp and don’t come back on folk’s anniversaries to impose. not cool!
